Early bird gets the worm ‼️‼️ Don’t wait until the last minute to book your vendors. Secure the venue. Secure the catering. Secure the band and entertainment ASAPPPP. We would say at least a year out to feel confident. Even if it’s a vendor you are just considering, ask if they can reserve the date for you or put down a refundable deposit so that you can at least know that you have them in your back pocket in case something changes. The longer you wait, the less availability each vendor is going to have and the higher the fees are going to be. Set a Clear Budget Early Establish the total amount you can spend BEFORE BOOKING ANYTHING. Break it down into categories like venue, catering, entertainment, decor, and contingency (add in 10-15% of your budget for unexpected expenses). 🌱2. Prioritize Expenses Figure out what matters the most to you. What element is the most important for your event, like venue or entertainment, and allocate more of your budget there. 🌿3. we spent a few days in Quebec City last month touring the town, meeting with our vendors, touring restaurants and venues for the upcoming conference next year, #ISSFAL2025. this will be our second time working with this group, planning and managing their conference, and we are really excited to be back with again them 😁 last year we helped them welcome 350 delegates to Nantes, France. next year, we are planning for about 400 delegates to come in from all over the world to visit Quebec, hear from industry experts, network and have a great time. we are 10 months out from the conference so it’s crunch time baby 🤘🏼let the madness begin!!
